You might work well with Erika if…

You are navigating emotional or relational challenges such as stress, anxiety, communication difficulties, intimacy concerns, or life transitions - including pregnancy, parenting, or changes within relationships. You may be seeking a safe, compassionate space to explore challenges individually or together. Erika offers therapy that is emotionally attuned, practical, and grounded in genuine human connection.

Erika is an empathetic and skilled counsellor and integrative psychotherapist based in Mornington. She works with individuals and couples seeking greater emotional clarity, resilience, and stronger relationships. With over 25 years of experience supporting people through major life transitions - including couple-hood, pregnancy, parenting, midlife, and ageing - Erika brings warmth, steadiness, and depth to her work.

Her approach centres on building meaningful therapeutic relationships. She works collaboratively to support self-awareness, emotional strength, and healing from life’s challenges. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-informed work, somatic therapy, and mindfulness practices, Erika tailors therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Erika supports clients to develop greater awareness of their emotional and bodily experiences, helping them build clarity around desire, boundaries, and choice. This embodied understanding allows people to communicate more openly, strengthen intimacy, and create relationships that support safety, sexuality, playfulness, and connection.

Her trauma-informed, inclusive practice welcomes people from diverse cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and relationship structures. Erika’s work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and practical support that translates into everyday life.

Alongside her clinical work, Erika volunteers with Birth for HumanKIND, reflecting her ongoing commitment to compassionate, ethical, and socially conscious care.

Erika welcomes clients to book a complimentary intake call to explore whether working together feels like the right fit and to ask any questions before beginning therapy.

Erika works in person at the Mornington clinic on Thursdays, with daytime and evening appointments available. She also offers online therapy and sessions in Ringwood by appointment Monday to Wednesday and Fridays, including early morning and some evening availability to suit different schedules.
